Rocky Mountain Unveils the All-New Altitude Powerplay 3
Rocky Mountain has officially launched the new Altitude Powerplay 3, describing it as its “most advanced e-mountain bike yet.” Built on a heritage of podium finishes at the Enduro World Series and Red Bull Rampage, the latest generation Powerplay has been engineered to deliver uncompromising performance, power, and trail capability.
Built for Aggressive Enduro Riding
Designed around the philosophy that “fun is the ultimate measure of performance,” the Altitude Powerplay 3 transforms technical climbs and demanding descents into all-day riding opportunities.
At the core of the bike is Rocky Mountain’s proven LC2R™ (Low Centre Counter Rotating) suspension platform, delivering improved traction, enhanced pedalling efficiency, and a responsive yet supportive ride feel across challenging terrain. The updated system also benefits from a lower centre of gravity and a stiffer rear triangle for increased stability and control at speed.
The new Altitude Powerplay 3 is available in both SMOOTHWALL™ Carbon and FORM™ Alloy frame options, balancing stiffness, durability, and weight savings for riders seeking maximum performance on demanding trails.
Key Geometry & Travel Features:
- 170mm front travel
- 160mm rear travel
- Frame-specific wheel sizing:
- SM: 27.5”
- MD–XL: 29” front / MX rear
- RIDE-4™ geometry adjustment system with four ride configurations
The new model is available in two striking colourways:
